Flatlander Kennels is a full time training facility that strives for perfection and can customize training programs to fit your hunting style!

Dogs will be trained and exercised on a daily basis, with extensive water work during hot summer months.

• Dogs are trained on an individual basis. Each dog has his or her own personality.
• Customize the training program to enhance natural instincts.
• Started training as an amateur in 1990, been training professional since 2000.
• Specialize in custom training programs to fit handler and dog.
• Retrievers in UKC/HRC or AKC licensed hunt tests if requested by owner.

Call early if interested in having your dog trained at Flatlander Kennels, with a limited number of dogs taken, open kennels don't last long!

Training
• Dog/Owner sessions also provided with appointment. Sessions generally last 1 hour with emphasis on teamwork between dog and handler. Sessions are ideal for early season tune-ups and specific handling concerns.
• Owners are encouraged to call on a weekly updates of dog's progression.
• Owners encouraged to participate in training sessions. (Please call in advance)

To ensure a clean and safe kennel environment, dogs must have a current vaccination record before entering facilities.

Fees - $600.00 per month (Includes state sales tax)
Payment for 1st month due at drop off, then 1 month in advance thereafter.
Excludes: Unforeseen and emergency vet bills.

Hunt test handling Fees: $40 flat rate handling fee per test, plus travel expenses incurred. (Travel expenses incurred will be split evenly among all dogs entered and traveling to tests.)
Additional fees: Trips to the vet - $30.00 round trip.
Private dog & handler sessions: $45.00 per hour.
