Flatlander Kennels is a nationally recognized facility known for producing some of the best all-around dogs in the country. Our success is reflected in our high pass rate in tests and trials. We’ve trained 54 GRHRCHs (Grand Hunting Retriever Champions—ranking 3rd in history), over 300 HRCHs (Hunting Retriever Champions), and more than 100 MHs (Master Hunters). Additionally, our record in lower field trial stakes is outstanding, with 6 QAA (Qualified All Age) titles earned in limited trialing. In just 8 total trials, we’ve accumulated 3 first-place finishes, 3 second-place finishes, 2 third-place finishes, 2 fourth-place finishes, 3 RJ’s (Reserve Judge’s Award of Merit), and 1 JAM (Judge’s Award of Merit).
While these accolades are an incredible achievement, what truly drives us is training dogs that their owners are proud to hunt with and stand beside. At Team FLK, you're not just a client—you become a friend. The relationships we’ve built over the years mean more to us than any trophy or title.
We also offer a unique service that many facilities don’t: Every month, Joel Robbins, DVM, owner of Pioneer Animal Clinic in Scottsbluff, NE, visits our kennel to administer heartworm medication and conduct a physical exam on every dog. If we’re asking our dogs to give us 110%, we make sure we’re doing our part to keep them healthy and happy!
