Flatlander Kennels is a fully insured full time and full service training facility owned and operated by Chris and Eileen Jobman. We're located just East of Scottsbluff, Nebraska along the famed North Platte river. We're very fortunate to live in "hunting heaven". We're not only retriever trainers but we are very serious hunters, so we know what it takes to build a great hunting dog.

Chris has been training dogs for over 20 years and turned professional in 2000. He personally trains all the early advanced training dogs and advanced training dogs. Chris is a very detailed orientated person and passes this philosophy and attention to detail onto his staff.
Chris is an AVID hunter.....when he isn't training you can usually find him in a duck blind somewhere along the North Platte river.

Eileen is the "brains" of the bunch and keeps the "train on the tracks" so to speak. She's in charge of the financial aspect of the business and takes all the photos for our website and Facebook page.
Eileen loves puppies and manages all of our breedings and puppy raising. Eileen loves to hunt and photography. She truly loves the dogs and the sport.
